Andy Heyes led England to the team title in winning the Home Countries cross country at Wollaton Park. Andy led the 10k race, run over a very tough and hilly 2k lap, from the start alongside Dan Garbutt. On the 3rd lap, Andy managed to open up a small gap and then increased the lead to 10 seconds on the final lap, winning in 31:33.
Julia Jagger produced a strong run to help the North of England to 2nd team place ahead of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the South of England. Julia covered the 8k course in 31:06 to finish 19th.
